The stock market in Grand Theft Auto 5, if played right, is a great way to earn some extra money. Like in real life, the goal is to buy low and sell high; however, in GTA 5, your actions in the game have a direct impact on the stocks, meaning you ultimately control your own financial destiny.
In GTA 5, each of the companies in the stock market have a rival company. The idea is to invest in one of the stocks and then sabotage items belonging to the rival company. This will cause your stock to rise and the rival company’s to fall. Once the rival is low enough, you can buy their stock low and then perform heists and other mayhem on their rival. And so on and so on.
First let’s look at the full list of rival companies in the stock market:
|Slaughter, Slaugher & Slaughter||Bullhead|
Using FlyUS and AirEmu as an example, first invest heavily in the AirEmu stock. Then travel to the airport and destroy only FlyUS airplanes. This will lead to a rise in the value of your AirEmu stock. Once you are content with its new value, you can sell it for more then you purchased it for and make a profit. After that, you can purchase some FlyUS stock and then destroy AirEmu aircrafts, repeating the process.
